The Effect of Zinc Doped Bismuth Ferrite on Changes in Structural and Microwave Absorption Properties through the Sol-gel Synthesis Method

The zinc (Zn) doped bismuth ferrite (BiFeO3) have been successfully synthesized through the sol-gel autocombustion method as a microwave absorbent material composite process with silicone rubber. characterizations of nanoparticles was done using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), vibration sample magnetometer (VSM), and vector network analyzer (VNA). Through XRD test, nanoparticle BiFe1-xZnxO3 (x = 0, 0.06, 0.12) crystal structure rhombohedral R3c. FTIR it observed that area wave number 491–569 cm-1 were used an absorber for BiFeO3, while one in BiFeO3 to be 489–636 cm-1. VSM test shows ferromagnetic properties potentially change paramagnetic addition doping. VNA obtained, without doping has reflection loss (RL) –25.79 dB narrower frequency range (%wt x RL –30.02 wider so good material.
